Анотація:
The method of conditional moments is developed for the effective electrostriction, a nonlinearly
electromechanical effect in inhomogeneous two-component materials. The explicit expressions
for an isotropic composite containing spherical isotropic inclusions are given. The influence of
the volume fraction of inclusions and the stiffness and electrostrictive properties of a composite
material on the effective electrostrictive coefficients are illustrated numerically and discussed.
