Новый для фауны Украины отряд ракообразных (Crustacea, Bathynellacea) с описанием нового для науки подвида

Abstract

The specimens of Bathynellacea are discovered in the Ukraine for the first time. More than 20 females and males of Bathynella natans stammeri Jakob i, 1954 (the mandibular structure points to this subspecies) are found in wells (vil. Danilo-Ivanovka near Zaporozhye). The described specimens differ from those described in the literature in two-jointed exopodites of thoracic legs. The female of Bathynella was found in spring near vii. Vladimirovka (Ismail region). The peculiarities of mandibular structure of this specimen (massive upper part, strongly developed denticle 2, very small denticle 7 which is shorter than denticle 6) give grounds to describe this subspecies as new for the science. It is named Bathynella natans ukrainica Monchenk o, subsp. n.
