Концепція культурної ідентичності в контексті історії культури постмодерного світу

Abstract

Метою дослідження є аналіз множинної культурної ідентичності як динамічного процесу в контексті постмодерного світу. Методологія дослідження. Для проведення дослідження використані системний, культурно-історичний, герменевтичний та інтеґративний підходи. Наукова новизна роботи полягає в обґрунтуванні доцільності використання концепції множинної культурної ідентичності в контексті ґлобалізаційних процесів, що потребує вироблення нової парадигми мислення. За сучасних умов імперативом соціально-культурної взаємодії стає власний вільний вибір культурної ідентифікації, який спонукає індивіда до осмислення міжособистісних і міжгрупових взаємодій із позиції толерантності та робить його відкритим для розуміння носіїв інших ідентичностей. Висновки. Конструктивістський підхід до розуміння феномену культури, який став панівним у постмодерному світі, сприяв виникненню нової інтерпретації культурної ідентичності, котра розуміється як динамічний процес об’єднання індивідуальної та групової ідентичностей і не є абсолютно завершеною. Результати проведеного дослідження дозволяють дійти висновку, що множинна культурна ідентичність сприяє здатності людини до змін, здатності давати раду новим викликам, якими сповнений ґлобалізований світ. Ця здатність до адаптації є суттєвою передумовою покращення процесу міжкультурної комунікації в межах нової геополітичної конструкції світобудови.

The aim of the study is to analyze the multiple cultural identity as a dynamic process in the context of the postmodern world. Methodology of the study. The authors used a systematic, cultural-historical, hermeneutic, and integrative approaches. The scientific novelty consists in substantiating the expediency of using the concept of multiple cultural identity in the context of globalization processes, which requires the development of a new paradigm of thinking. Nowadays, human’s free choice is becoming the imperative of socio-cultural interaction. It induces the individual to comprehend interpersonal and intergroup interactions from the standpoint of tolerance and makes him/her open to understanding the carriers of the other identities. Conclusions. The constructivist approach to culture, which is dominant in the postmodern world, contributes to the emergence of a new interpretation of cultural identity. It is understood as a dynamic process of uniting individual and group identities, which is regarded as principally incomplete. The results of the study lead to the conclusion that the multiple cultural identity contributes to the ability of a person to change, the ability to cope with the new challenges of the globalized world. This ability to adapt is an essential prerequisite for improving the process of intercultural communication within the framework of the new geopolitical structure of the world.
