A stranded harbour porpoise pregnant with a near-term foetus in cephalic (head) presentation was found. It is the first time when cephalic presentation, now recorded in three odontocete families, is reported for phocoenids. It proved to occur rarely, yet to be more widespread for aquatic mammals than could be expected.; Обнаружена выброшенная на берег морская свинья, беременная предродовым плодом в головном предлежании. Описан Apodemus alae Nesin, sp. n., новый вид линии мелких мышей рода Apodemus Kaup, 1829 из местонахождений позднемиоценовой фауны юга Украины. A. alae sp. n. отличается от большинства позднемиоценовых мышей рода Apodemus прежде всего мелкими размерами, а от сходных мелких видов – эволюционными тенденциями в морфологии зубов. Верхние коренные зубы M1—2 характеризуются сильным развитием гребня между t4 и t8, и наличием слабо развитого t7, менее чем у 50% экземпляров. Нижние m1, характеризуются отсутствием tma приблизительно у 20% экземпляров m1.; A new species of a small-sized muridae lineage of the genus Apodemus Kaup, 1829, Apodemus alae Nesin, sp. n., from the Late Miocene localities of southern Ukraine is described. Its small sizes differ it from the majority of Late Miocene muridae of the genus Apodemus, A. alae sp. n. Its evolutionary tendencies in tooth morphology differ it from the similar small-sized species. The upper molars M1—2 are characterized by strong development of a crest between t4 and t8, whereas less than 50% of the specimens have poorly developed t7. Furthermore, approximately 20% of the lower m1 specimens is characterized by the absence of tma. Отмечены отличительные признаки церкарий.; The article provides the description of the Diplostomum rutili Razmashkin, 1969 cercariae from spontaneously infected crimean population mollusks Lymnaea stagnalis Linnaeus, 1758 and the metacercariae experimentally obtained in the juveniles of the roach, Rutilus rutilus Linnaeus, 1758.
