Приведена таблица для определения 20 известных в фауне Палеарктики видов рода Hypsicera Latreille, материал по большинству из которых хранится в коллекциях Зоологического института РАН (С.-Петербург) и Института зоологии НАН Украины (Киев). Ряд видов включен в таблицу по литературным данным. Предложено новое замещающее название: H. britannica Tolkanitz, nom. n. pro H. anglica Schmiedeknecht, 1925, non H. anglica Cockerell, 1921.; Key to 20 species of the genus Hypsicera Latreille of the Palaearctic Region is provided. Most species are deposited in the collections of the Zoological Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences (St. Petersburg) and Schmalhausen Institute of Zoology of the National Academy of Ukraine (Kyiv). Several species are included to the key based on the literature data alone. New replacement name H. britannica Tolkanitz, nom. n. pro H. anglica Schmiedeknecht, 1925, non H. anglica Cockerell, 1921 is proposed. The new species is similar to Rhaphium gruniniani Negrobov, 1979, differing by black legs, simple, not thickened tip of fore basitarsus, length ratio of apical portion of vein CuA1 to crossvein dm-cu and by the shape of gonopodes.; С высокогорного Алтая описан Rhaphium sibiricus Negrobov, Barkalov et Selivanova, sp. n. Новый вид близок к Rhaphium gruniniani Negrobov, 1979, от которого отличается черными ногами, простыми неутолщенными вершинами передних базитарзусов, соотношением длины вершинной части CuA1 к длине dm-cu и формой гонопод. For the first time, endosymbiotic bacteria of the genus Wolbachia were found to infect soothsayers, Mantis religiosa (Linnaeus, 1758). Mantises were collected at two locations in vicinity of Mykolaiv and Kaniv, Ukraine. Tested individuals were not infected by Cardinium and Spiroplasma.; Впервые установлено наличие эндосимбиотических бактерий рода Wolbachia у богомолов Mantis religiosa (Linnaeus, 1758). Богомолы были пойманы в двух местонахождениях (окрестности Николаева и Канева, Украина). Особи не были инфицированы бактериями родов Cardinium и Spiroplasma.
