Дубровського як джерело вивчення лексики української мови. З’ясовано роль і значення лексикографічної спадщини початку XX ст., зокрема так званих репресованих словників. Досліджено й описано структуру «Словника московсько-українського». За допомогою програмних методів сформовано реєстр усіх українських лексем, зафіксованих у названій праці, що дає змогу провести їх комплексний аналіз.; The article deals with a translation "Moscow-Ukrainian dictionary" (1918) by V. Dubrovskyi as a source for studying vocabulary of the Ukrainian language. The role and importance of lexicographical heritage of the early XX century, including the so-called repressed dictionaries, has been found out. The structure of "Moscow-Ukrainian dictionary" has been studied and described. By using programmatic methods a register of all Ukrainian lexical units fixed in the named work has been formed, which allows conduction of their complex analysis. У статті запропоновано формулювання концепції мовнофілософської картини світу, яка визначається в парадигмі сучасних лінгвокогнітивних досліджень релятивістського спрямування. За допомогою методів теорії прототипів, семантики фреймів і теорії перспектив, безпосередньому аналізу піддається етимологія термінів на позначення онтологічних категорій простору, часу, руху і причини в українській та російській мовах. Застосована методологія дозволяє як вихід у ширшу площину слов’янських мов, так і здійснення цілісної реконструкції світоглядних концептуальних структур у вигляді слов’янської мовнофілософської картини світу, верифікація якої проводиться в контексті російської та української філософських традицій.; The paper contains a formulation of the linguo-philosophical picture of the world defined in the paradigm of modem cognitive and relativistic studies, their theoretical framework embracing the question of a philosophical point of view embodied in the structure of a language. The etymology of the Ukrainian and Russian terms denoting ontological categories of space, time, motion and cause is considered through the prism of prototypical and frame-based analyses, and placed into the context of vantage theory. The employed methodology allows projection of the results onto a wider range of Slavic languages as well as a coherent reconstruction of respective conceptual patterns verified against the background of the Russian and Ukrainian philosophical traditions. У них читач може знайти також чимало цікавої інформації про суспільне життя того періоду.; A collection of letters by Professoe Yuriy Zhluktenko to Roksolana Zorivchak is being presented. Professor was the most brilliant scholar in Germanic Studies in Ukraine in the second half of the 20th c. whose aim was to develop and promote Ukrainian Studies. He pioneered in researching the American and Canadian territorial dialects of the Ukrainian language. Professor was the first to contrast the Ukrainian, German and English languages on lexical, grammatical and stylistic levels in the light of current scholarly paradigms. The researcher elaborated the methods of teaching Ukrainian to students of English-language linguistic background. He has also made a substantial contribution to Ukrainian lexicography. He essentially developed the theory, methods and linguostylistics of translation studies analysis, elaborated the principles of researching the history of Ukrainian literary translation. To enrich the Ukrainian translated literature he mastered rarely used languages of limited diffusion—Frisian and Flemish to make translations from those languages. The letters discuss the problems connected with Candidate and Doctoral theses written by Zorivchak, mainly concerning phraseology and translation studies.
