<title>Singular peculiarities of a plane wave diffracted on half-plane</title>

<description>Singular peculiarities of a plane wave diffracted on half-plane
Anokhov, S.; Khizhnyak, A.; Lymarenko, R.; Soskin, M.
We analyzed singular properties of edge dislocation waves («EDW») - the main information component of the field formed at plane wave diffraction on half-plane. It is shown that analytical structure of this wave is completely identical to Cornu’s spiral, while physical simulation thereof requires joining the plane wave with an edge dislocation. Dislocations of this type are rather sensitive to action of any amplitude phase distortion on them that considering the impact of actual noise essentially hampers their experimental isolation in the pure form. At the same time spatial position of such dislocation may be effectively controlled by changing the amplitude and phase of one of the wave components. We considered peculiarities of structural evolution of the field at more complicated form of diffraction aperture.

<title>Absorption spectra and chromonic phase in aqueous solution of perylenetetracarboxylic bisimides derivatives</title>

<description>Absorption spectra and chromonic phase in aqueous solution of perylenetetracarboxylic bisimides derivatives
Camorani, P.; Furier, M.; Kachkovskii, O.; Piryatinskiy, Yu.; Slominskii, Yu.; Nazarenko, V.
In this article we report the complex investigation of perylenetetracarboxylic bisimides derivatives in water solution. The results deal with all possible concentration in wide range of temperature. The experimentally observed of long wavelength maximums in absorption spectra with increasing of concentration can be attributed to decrease individual molecules of the dye and to the formation of aggregates. This fact is also responsible for the shift and form change of emission spectra.

<title>Algorithm of microchip operation for controlling parameters of a latex agglutination reaction</title>
<link>http://dspace.nbuv.gov.ua:80/handle/123456789/119282</link>
<description>Algorithm of microchip operation for controlling parameters of a latex agglutination reaction
Bilyi, O.I.; Yaremyk, R.Y.; Kiselyov, Y.M.; Novikov, V.P.
In the given work the algorithm of work and structure of microchip construction, intended for kinetics researches of formation of modular complexes is considered during the reaction of latex agglutination. The physical principles of registration of enzyme adsorption isotherms on latex by method of light scattering are considered. The results of the reaction of adsorption of protacrin enzyme on hydroperoxide latex’s are shown.

<title>Coupling between propagated modes in optical fibers with periodical structures</title>

<description>Coupling between propagated modes in optical fibers with periodical structures
Bobitski, Y.W.; Fitio, V.M.; Lebid, S.Yu.
Theoretical analysis was conducted with the purpose for further development of spectral-sensitive elements for fiber optic devices including sensors of physical magnitudes. Forecasting performances of such elements is conducted. Analysis has shown that coupling coefficient between propagating modes (incident and reflected) of fiber cladding grating is sufficient for sensitive elements manufacturing because on fiber cladding it is possible to achieve significant equivalent periodic modification of refraction index not taking into consideration that wave amplitude in the cladding is significantly less than in the core. Such gratings can be created by holographic method using photopolymeric media and lasers working in blue-green area of spectrum. The case of the corrugated or sinusoidal boundary between fiber core and cladding is also possible, and between cladding and external medium under investigation, for example with water, where various substances are dissolved, influencing on refraction and absorption of light waves propagating in the fiber. The results of theoretical researches can be used for developing devices with periodic structures on optical fibers.
