Polyassociative thermodynamical model of A²B⁶ semiconductor melt and phase equilibrium in Cd-Hg-Te system: 3. Optimization of the thermodynamical functions of the model and quasi-binary structural diagram of Cd-Hg-Te system
P.P., Moskvin; L.V., Rashkovetskiy; A.V., Stronski
Within the frames of the model of the polyassociative solutions the comparative analysis was performed of the formation parameters of multi-atom complexes in CdTe and Hg-Te systems. It was shown, that thermodynamical properties of the studied systems can be described in the supposition of the presence in the liquid phase of the ATe, A₂Te₃, ATe₂, A₂Te (A = Cd, Hg) and free Te, Cd, Hg atoms. In accordance with the model of polyassociative solutions the data on p–T–x equilibrium in the region of quasi-binary cross-section of Cd-Hg-Te system structural diagram were obtained. It was shown, that the mixing effects in the three-component liquid phase are satisfactorily described by the formation of CdHgTe and CdHgTe₃ associates. The good correspondence of the calculations and experiment in the high temperature part of the Cd-Hg-Te system structural diagram was achieved.

Method for replacing objects in 4F correlator: testing

Method for replacing objects in 4F correlator: testing
Yezhov, P.V.; Kuzmenko, A.V.; Smirnova, Т.N.; Ivanovskyy, A. A.
The method of pattern recognition based on replacement of object images incoming to the correlator by object-dependent synthesized phase objects calculated using the iterative Fourier-transform algorithm was developed by us earlier. In this work, we performed experimental testing the above method by using an optical-digital 4F-correlator. Synthesized phase objects were inputed into the correlator through the spatial light modulator LC2002. Holographic matched filters were recorded using self-developing photopolymers PPC-488. For two test objects, we obtained unified (δ-like) correlation signals with the signal-to-noise ratio reaching 24 dB, while the diffraction efficiency of these filters was up to 30%.

Radiation power spectral distribution of two electrons moving in magnetic fields

Radiation power spectral distribution of two electrons moving in magnetic fields
Konstantinovich, A.V.; Melnychuk, S.V.; Konstantinovich, I.A.
Integral expressions for spectral distributions of the radiation power for systems of non-interacting point charged particles moving on arbitrary trajectory in electromagnetic fields in isotropic transparent media and in vacuum are investigated using the Lorentz self-interaction method. Special attention is given to the research of the fine structure of the synchrotron radiation spectral distribution of two electrons spiraling in vacuum in a relativistic case. The spectra of synchrotron, Cherenkov and synchrotron-Cherenkov radiations for a single electron are analyzed.

The influence of the isotopic composition of active medium on a lasing spectrum of a XeCl laser has been investigated. Spectra of spontaneous and stimulated emissions for monoisotopic ¹²⁴Xe³⁵Cl molecules were measured. The frequencies in lasing spectrum were determined. The frequencies of vibrational edging in the luminescence spectra of the molecule ¹²⁴Xe³⁵Cl. l were also measured. We showed that varying the isotopic composition of the active medium one can get the lasing on frequencies different from the lasing ones in the natural XeCl laser.
