У статті висвітлено особливості дослідження проблем освіти в Східній Галичині автономічної доби в сучасній українській і польській історіографії. Розглянуто різнопланові праці, присвячені становленню та розвитку народного, середнього та вищого шкільництва. Виокремлено найбільш дискусійні аспекти обговорюваних проблем. З’ясовано, що особливістю сучасного дослідницького дискурсу є вивчення різнопланових виховних проблем (родинне та релігійне виховання, жіноча, позашкільна та професійна освіта, підготовка вчителів і навчання дорослих тощо) у їхній щільній пов’язаності з соціальним контекстом. Відзначено побутування у деяких польських працях стереотипів при осмисленні українського шкільництва Східної Галичини, котрі перейшли нам у спадок від доби гострого міжнаціонального протистояння. Зроблено висновок про значну популярність освітянської проблематики, з огляду на потужний модернізаційний вплив шкільництва на всі сфери тогочасного суспільного життя. Виокремлено перспективні напрями подальшого дослідження галицького шкільництва.; The article is devoted to the peculiarities of the study of the problems of education in the Eastern Galicia of the autonomic age in contemporary Ukrainian and Polish historiography. Various works devoted to the formation and development of national, secondary and higher schooling have been considered. The most controversial aspects of the discussed issues have been singled out. It has been revealed that the feature of modern research discourse is the study of various educational problems (family and religious education, women’s education, extracurricular and vocational education, teacher training and adult education, etc.) in their close connection with the social context. The existence of some stereotypes in works of Polish scholars about the Ukrainian schooling of Eastern Galicia, which have passed to us from the era of acute inter-ethnic confrontation, has been noted. The article concludes about the considerable popularity of educational issues, considering the powerful modernizing effect of schooling on all spheres of contemporary social life. У статті вперше в українській історіографії проаналізовано інформаційні можливості документів серії “Консульство в Одесі: 1816–1859 рр.” фонду “Політичні матеріали звітів з-за кордону” Державного архіву Турина та серії “Консульство в Одесі” фонду “Міністерство закордонних справ” Державного архіву Неаполя. Ці комплекси документів зберігають подані до міністерств іноземних справ Сардинського королівства та Королівства Обох Сицилій звіти генеральних консулів цих держав в Одесі, що доповідали про хід торгівлі, факти з життя італійської громади, діяльність консульства та його осередків в південноукраїнських містах.; The author analyzes information capabilities of primary sources of series “The Odesa Consulate: 1816 1859” and “Odesa Consulate (1816–1860)”, which is preserved in The State Archives of Turin and The State Archives of Naples. The records are presented by reports of General Consulate of the Sardinian Kingdom and of the Kingdom of Two Sicilies in Odesa in the first half of XIX century. These consulates were established to protect the trade interests of these states and their subjects in the Russian ports of the Black and Azov Seas. Leading researchers in the history of the Italian community (M. Varvartsev, K. Batsak, A. Makolkin) in southern Ukraine in XIX century did not use consular documents in their studies. Therefore, the analysis of these primary sources and their comparison with those maintained in the State Archive of Odesa is extremely important for the study of this problem. The series records provide insight into consular activities towards the establishment of international relations, foreign trade promotion and cultural adjustment and personal contacts. Italian consular documents reveal the history of the Catholic Church and the Catholic community in the South of Ukraine, which is poorly researched, but is an important episode in Ukrainian history. The documents contain numerous facts with regard to commercial relationship between Italian and Ukrainian ports, the activity Italian commercial companies and Sardinian and Neapolitan subjects, which resided in the South-Ukrainian cities. Further identification and research of the documents of the Consulates of other Italian states in Odesa (Tuscan, Roman, and Parmesan) will provide a comprehensive opportunity to highlight the activities and role of the local Italian community in the history of Ukraine. 2017-01-01T00:00:00Z
