<description>A machine for determination of the characteristics of crack resistance in the crack arrest stage at normal and low temperatures
Kashtalyan, Yu.A.; Torop, V.M.
In the Institute of Strength Problems of the Academy of Sciences of the Ukrainian SSR using a KM-50 test machine as a base, a machine with increased rigidity has been built making it possible to conduct crack resistance tests of double cantilever beam specimens up to 20 mm thick.

<description>Systems approach to problems of the design of automated test complexes. Report 2. Determination of system parameters
Grishko, V.G.
In our study, the detection of an extremum for estimates of a set of ATC criteria in a preferred scalar with certain constraints will be understood as optimization.

<description>Use of the finite elements method to calculate the strength of conical shells with notches
Kabanov, V.V.; Zheleznov, L.P.
The present study determines the moment stress--strain state of conical shells with notches of arbitrary size and form under complex loading. The problem is solved by the finite elements method in displacements.

<description>Study of the stress-strain state of ribbed cylindrical shells by the finite elements method
Menabdishvili, P.Z; Kodner, M.Ya.; Babaev, V.B.
The present work reports on numerical experiments conducted with a computer to determine the convergence, accuracy, and quality of calculations with different grid densities.
