Впервые проведены расчеты из первых принципов спин-поляризованной электронной структуры соединений тяжелых редкоземельных металлов: НоIn₃ и TmGa₃. Определена топология поверхности Ферми этих
соединений. Установлено распределение магнитных моментов на атомах f- и sp-металлов.; Вперше виконано обчислення із перших принципів спін-поляризованої електронної структури сполук важких рідкісноземельних металів: НоIn₃ та TmGa₃. Знайдено топологію поверхні Фермі цих сполук. Встановлено розміщення магнітних моментів на атомах f- та sp-металів.; The first ab initio calculations of the spin-polarized electronic structure are carried out for heavy rare-earth metal compounds НоIn₃ and TmGa₃. The topology of the Fermi surface is determined for these compounds. The site- and angular-momentum-resolved contributions to the total magnetic moments are found for f and sp atoms.

On spectral properties of the uniaxially anisotropic Heisenberg Hamiltonian

The uniaxially anisotropic Heisenberg Hamiltonian H is considered, which describes a simple lattice of spins and incorporates first-nearest, ..., m-nearest neighbour interactions under the condition that Jjαj ≥ 0, j = 1, ..., m, where Jj, αj are the exchange and anisotropy constants of the j-th shell of neighbours, respectively. It is proved that, there are no bound states in the two-magnon space above the band of the continuous spectrum of H and, for the XY model, there are no two-magnon bound states at all.
