Specimens of Gyrodactylus alexanderi were found on Gasterosteus aculeatus from Kamchatka; this is the first record of these parasites from Eurasia.; У Gasterosteus aculeatus из Западной Камчатки обнаружен Gyrodactylus alexanderi. Сообщено о находках новых, ранее неизвестных для отдельных участков Южного Буга и в целом для его басссейна, видов рыб. Приведены краткие диагнозы этих рыб. Материал, собранный в коренном русле Южного Буга в пре-делах Хмельницкой и Винницкой областей, хранится в ихтиологических фондах зоомузея ННПМ НАНУ.; Several species of fishes are recorded for the first time from certain locations in the Southern Bug and from its basin as a whole. Diagnoses are provided for all the species. The material was collected directly in the Southern Bug itself in Khmelnitsky and Vinnytsya districts. The Material is deposited in the collection of the Natural History Museum of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.

Зимовки черного коршуна (Milvus migrans) в Украине Цвелых, А.Н.; Панюшкин, В.Е. Зимовки черного коршуна, Milvus migrans (Boddaert, 1783), отмечаются в Украине в районе дельты Дуная и в южной части Крыма, начиная с 1998 г. До этого в Крыму вид считался немногочисленным, мигрирующим и изредка летующим (приводятся даты встреч). Изложены подробные данные о возникновении и динамике наиболее крупного зимовочного скопления коршунов в районе Севастополя. Количество зимующих здесь птиц с каждым годом возрастало и в 2001 г. насчитывало 70 особей разного пола и возраста. Описаны особенности поведения коршунов на кормежке, отдыхе и на ночевках, а также взаимоотношения с другими видами зимующих птиц — вороном, серой вороной и вяхирем.; Since 1998 wintering of the Black Kite is recorded in Ukraine in the Danube delta and the Southern Crimea. In the Crimea this species was considered a rare migrant and occasionally summering species (dates of records are presented). There are detailed data on appearance and changes of the largest wintering gathering of the species in the district of Sevastopol. Number of wintering birds increased every year and was 70 individuals of a different sex and age in 2001. The features of feeding, rest and roost behavior of the species are described, as well as interrelationships with other wintering birds, namely Raven, Hooded Crow and Woodpigeon.

Ten species of moths belonging to families Plutellidae and Yponomeutidae are newly recorded from Israel: Yponomeuta albonigratus Gershenson, Y. cagnagellus (Hübner), Y. meridionalis Gershenson, Kessleria saxifragae (Stainton), Ypsolopha asperella (Linnaeus), Y. dentella (Fabricius), Y. instabilella Mann, Y. mucronella (Scopoli), Y. persicella (Fabricius), and Plutella porrectella (Linnaeus). The majority of these species were collected at the “Evolution Canyon”, Lower Nahal Oren, Mt. Carmel, Israel.; Впервые для фауны Израиля указаны 10 видов молей из семейств Plutellidae и Yponomeutidae: Ypo-nomeuta albonigratus Gershenson, Y. cagnagellus (Hubner), Y. meridionalis Gershenson, Kessleria saxifragae (Stainton), Ypsolopha asperella (Linnaeus), Y. dentella (Fabricius), Y. instabilella Mann, Y. mucronella (Scopoli), Y. persicella (Fabri-cius), and Plutella porrectella (Linnaeus).
