Архівіст, археограф, історик Пантелеймон Гудзенко: діялність у 1941–1945 рр. у контексті роботи архівних органів УРСР Даниленко, В.; Юсов, С. The article provides a detailed activity research of P. Hudzenko (1907–1994), a Ukrainian archivist, specialist in early text studies, historian, one of the founders of Ukrainian archival system, over the 1941–1945 period. A special emphasis is made on his role in arranging evacuation of archival documents at the very beginning of the war, organizing work of the operational group of the Directorate for NKVS State Archives of Ukrainian SSR on the front-line area (1942–1943), reactivation of the archival system within the reconstruction period (1943–1945), returning of archival documents removed by the occupants.

The article and the documents (as its components) offer a profound research of Smilianshchyna as the Grand Duke H. Potiomkin-Tavriis’kyi’s property in the context of his motives respecting buying the given estate from Duke F. Liubomyrs’kyi. Due to some new archival documents introduced in the scientific circulation for the first time, the authors try to examine the initial stage of this “H. Potiomkin’s heritage” division between his genetic relatives, as well as delimit the territory, with the numbered list of inhabited localities included.
