Второе всесоюзное совещание по учетам охотничьих животных на больших территориях Галака, Б.А. 26—28 марта 1969 г. в г. Пущино Московской обл. состоялось Второе всесоюзное совещание по учетам охотничьих животных на больших территориях, созванное Главным управлением по охране природы, заповедникам и охотничьему хозяйству МСХ СССР. В работе совещания приняло участие более 100 представителей научно-исследовательских учреждений, учебных заведений, заповедников и охотничьих организаций. Совещание открыл начальник упомянутого управления Б. Н. Богданов.

Новые данные о желтой трясогузке (Motacilla flava L.) в Советских Карпатах Черватюк, Т.В. The data are presented on staying and nidification of Motacilla flava L. in the Rakhov massif of the Transcarpathian region. A female of this species was found on June, 11, 1962 near the upper-reaches of the Keveliv and the nest was detected for the first time on June 27, 1965 at the farm for cattle in the Menchul polonine. Growth and development of the nestlings were observed.

Диапауза яблонного плодового пилильщика (Hoplocampa testudinеа Кlug) в условиях предгорного Крыма Зайцев, Э.Ф. As a result of the observations during 1963—19&7 it was established that Hoplocam-' pa testudineae Klug, under conditions of the Crimean foothill had a two- and three-year diapause. Not less than 15% of the larvae in cocoons remain annually in a state of the two-year diapause, and from 3.7 to 5.2% in a state of the three-year diapause. The temperature and moisture of soil are basic factors affecting the duration of the diapause of the pest's larvae.
