В статье предпринята попытка выявления и анализа методологических основ
профессиональной культуры. Обосновывается возрастание роли профессиональной культуры личности
в процессах социально-экономической, политической и духовной трансформации транзитивного
украинского общества.
На основе анализа ряда актуальных научных источников уточняются понятия «способ деятельности»,
«профессия», «профессиональная группа».
У статті зроблена спроба виявлення та аналізу методологічних основ професійної культури.
Обгрунтовується зростання ролі професійної культури особистості в процесах соціально-економічної,
політичної та духовної трансформації транзитивного українського суспільства.
На основі аналізу ряду актуальних наукових джерел уточнюються поняття «спосіб діяльності»,
«професія», «професійна група».
This article is to reveal and analyse methodological principles of professional culture. It justifies
growth of the role of professional culture of individual in the process of social and economic, political and
spiritual transformation of transitive Ukrainian society.
The article shows that culture and activity are connected dialectically but they are not identical phenomena.
Culture becomes individual’s heritage only during an appropriate activity, but on the other hand, activity
becomes more effective socially when cultural potencies of individual are versatile and deep.
On the basis of analysis of a number of significant scientific resources the article specifies the notions of “work
method”, “profession”, “professional group”.
The article specifies a definition of “professional culture”. From the author’s point of view, “professional
culture” is a systematic quality that defines the level of social and professional development of a worker in any
sphere of social division of labour, as well as measure and way of realization of its essential power in the
process of professional activity and its results. The essence of professional culture is expressed by: measure of
mastering of necessary professional knowledge, skills, ability and professional experience; the level of
integration of professional and social and cultural qualities of the individual; ability to apply a number of
rational ways, methods of work during the activity as well as reach a high level of labour effectiveness. In terms
of the structural plan, professional culture of individual is a social-spiritual and practical phenomenon. It
consists of two groups of components that define its spiritual and activity- behavioral aspects.
